Wishing you a happy and healthy festive season

We are very fortunate that 2021 has been a very strong year for the firm. We have seen accelerated growth this year in our corporate finance and investment work and also in our business-as-usual commercial support work; both for our larger established clients and also our smaller early stage clients. Our expertise in the food technology sector has continued to expand as our clients, in the food preparation and delivery and restaurant marketing sectors, continue to build on their enormous successes in previous years.

This year, for the first time, we are also very pleased to have acted for a number of new clients developing ‘technology for good’ products and services: from innovative water-saving cleaning products to the treatment of genetic diseases. The popular press can be too quick to focus on the negative aspects of technology and so it is important, especially in a time of great uncertainty and disruption, to remember how technology can be a force for good.

On this note, the Cystic Fibrosis Trust is our chosen charity this year. The Covid-19 pandemic has been challenging for everybody. However, it has been particularly difficult for those adults and children who suffer from the genetic lung condition, cystic fibrosis, and who are at increased risk from the effects of the virus. If you click on the big red button below and update your privacy preferences, we will make a donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Even if you tell us you don’t want to receive our legal updates, we will still give on your behalf.

Finally, in line with other corporate and commercial legal practices in the City of London, our offices will close at noon on Friday 24 December 2021 and will reopen on the morning of Tuesday 4 January 2022.
